About Department

The department offers Undergraduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), degree program that provide students with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in the Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The intake UG program was 30 initially and subsequently it has been increase to 45, 60 and now 120. The PG program with an intake of 18 has been started since 2010.

The department is having competent and experience faculties in the field of electronics and communication engineering and laboratories to cover all the subjects of curriculum.

Message from Head of Department

 

The Department of Electronics and communication Engineering was established in 1988 with the inception of the Institute to cater to undergraduate education in the field of Electronics and communication Engineering. It aims to produce quality professionals in Electronics and communication engineering to compete globally and excel by carrying out basic and applied research in emerging areas by forging strong industry-institute interaction.

PROGRAMME OUTCOMES (POs):

PO1.     Strong understanding  in both theoretical and practical core subjects of EC engineering.

PO2.     Expertise in Various skill of engineering like design and analysis of a problem.

PO3.     Excellent  performance of students in technological and managerial aspects.

PO4.     Leadership qualities, qualities to work independently as well as in team.

PO5.     Effective communication and presentation skill.

PO6.     An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals of EC engineering.

PO7.     Ability for continuous learning and knowing existing and new technology.

PO8.     Understanding of various modern days EC engineering tools.

ELECTRONICS LAB

  • This lab have Following Equipments

     (1) Workbenches

     (2) Digital Storage Oscilloscopes

     (3) Function Generators

     (4) Logic Analyzer & Pattern Generator

  •  Above equipment’s are very useful for generation and measurement of Signals in all Subjects.
  •  With purchase of these equipment’s we have strengthens laboratories of all subjects.
